Abstract

This article is based on the considerations made for the final work of postdoctoral research in Communication Studies to Regional Development at the UNESCO` Chair /UMESP [Brazil] and analyzes the latest interactive digital content industry that has been thought in Latin America and Caribbean, particularly in countries like Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. The study is based on a transdisciplinary view, from Edgar Morin and Jesus Martin-Barbero, based in Communication Studies, Economics and Management to account for the mainstreaming of the topic that includes the promotion of research and production centers interactive digital content, in turn, is directly related to digital communication and technology development.
