Abstract

The purpose of this work is to develop a quantitative analysis of the entrepreneurial competence of students between 2014 and 2017, grouped in 10 variables measured ex ante and ex post, to assess the impact of teaching practices in the Entrepreneurial and Innovation course as part of the core syllabus of the Business School (FCE) at the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU). Those teaching practices used agile methodologies and the learning by doing or hands on by applying it to a real entrepreneurial project during the course. These entrepreneurial competences will contribute to the development of university students’ skills which will allow them to adapt to the new job approach and sustainable development caused by the 4th industrial revolution technological, economic and social challenges.
