Abstract

This paper intends to defend certain intuitions about of the validity of a philosophical refl ection on ethics. Based on the principles set forth by Hume and Wittgenstein about the character defi cit of reason and limiting language structure, the paper seeks to defend idea of an ethical research where the normative content is not derived exclusively from reason, that leaves room for emotions, and that, due to its origin, can be brought to real scenarios of deliberation and decision.

Oswaldo Juan Plata Pineda, Universidad del Valle

Licenciado en Filosofía y Magíster en Filosofía de la Universidad del Valle (Colombia), Miembro del Grupo de Investigación en Filosofía GIF y Profesor Asociado del Politécnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid. Sus trabajos y publicaciones académicas se centran en la Epistemología, la Filosofía moral y la Política.
