Human management ¿a contradiction between human and strategic in the company?
Keywords:
strategy, human resources, personal administration, enterpriseAbstract
A review of the specialized literature in the eld of knowledge about management strategy shows that, historically, human aspects in the companies are generally considered strategic. However, the interests of the authors, who are part of this tradition, have focused on imagining how to construct some universal explanatory frameworks, –aimed at those responsible for the management of business enterprises–, to improve operational e ciency. This has led them to scrutinize the functional and structuring issues of the organized work; as a consequence, they have given high importance to the human factor in the company. However, a critical examination permits to infer that the human aspects have ended up by being an oxymoron to specialists of the strategy: “The humanity” is the strategic and missing element at the same time.
