Abstract

Small and medium enterprises form networks between them responding to competitive pressures. Thus, they increase their ability to react and adapt to changes in their environment, focus on their core competencies, increase the availability of resources and gain economies of scale. To achieve the benefits of these partnerships is necessary an integrated enterprise model that defines roles, responsibilities, functions, goals and relationships between actors. The aim of this paper is to propose a theoretical model of the fractal-based company projects for the virtual and temporary integration of businesses. The successful implementation of the model lies in the establishment of client-server relationships between project managers. To illustrate this model and its properties a hypothetical example involving pharmaceutical companies is used.
