Abstract

An educational need lies in the integration of the parts of a whole—education, pedagogy, and didactics. This article presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of an educational project that combines electronics, computer-aided design, and 3D printing, following the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) methodology for the model's design. The project consists of creating a 500 mm tall interactive Christmas tree, equipped with LEDs and controlled by a circuit based on the NE555 timer. This work demonstrates how practical projects can integrate various disciplines and motivate students toward more active and participatory learning.
