The concept of Open Government has been redefined constantly. At the beginning, it was considered like an electronic government activity. After that, Open Government was defined like an Ecosystem for the development of public policies and transparent governance strategies. According to this definition, Open Government suggests that governments must promote transparency, empower citizens, fight corruption, and harness new technologies to strengthen governance. This article talks about the concept of Open Government and its evolution.References
