The research shows the methods and techniques applied from the operations research, for the “Modeling of the harvesting collection network (micro routes) from the public cleaning service in the municipality of Sogamoso”, such as: Design of the exploitation network to be modeled and solved from the network theories, where the nodes are the collection points and must be connected by branches (distances between collection points) for the usable solid waste collection activity in the municipality of Sogamoso. Analysis of the exploitation network, to define the shortest route that optimizes the resources involved in them. Presentation of a tool based on the final georeferencing of the network to the company that provides the public cleaning service for implementation according to the procedures adjusted to the standard for collection, transportation and use that guarantees sustainable development in the municipality.
