Administrative management and features of the sports leagues of Antioquia department 2000-2010

Abstract

This is a study of sports leagues in the department of Antioquia, in connection with the administration and sports scores that are associated with that work. The research was led by Gestair allowed to find the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of these regional administrative units of physical activity, which are considered key in the structure of sport in Colombia. This work was done in the 40 league recognized by Indeportes Antioquia, with the presidents and managers of each of these entities, which were used for tools such as interview and survey. Development projects, theories administrative, managerial and organizational marketing strategies and communications, as well as indicators of management, organizational culture and climate, were the subjects of the survey that allowed characterizing and then making a proposal for operation of these institutions. Overal administrative disorder was found, litte use of management tools and performance indicators. Similarly, we detected a lack of communication and marketing strategies.
