La maniobra de adelantamiento en carreteras de dos carriles en Colombia

Abstract

En Colombia se tiene  legislación para el adelantamiento en carreteras de dos carriles en el Manual de diseño geométrico de carreteras, en el Manual de señalización y en el Código de Tránsito, en el  primero la norma para calcular la distancia de adelantamiento se basa en la velocidad específica, en el segundo en la velocidad de diseño y en el tercero se tiene en cuenta es la velocidad de operación y estos tres, arrojan distancias con diferencias considerables. Esto motivó el análisis de la maniobra y por ello se presentan aquí tres estudios realizados en Colombia, incluyendo el de la autora de este artículo que hace énfasis en la variable velocidad

ABSTRACT

In Colombia there is legislation for the advancement of two-lane highway in the manual of geometric design of roads, the Manual signal and the Traffic statute, in the first two specifications to calculate the passing sight distance  is based on the design speed and operating speed and throw distance respectively with significant differences. This motived the analysis of the maneuver and therefore presented here three studies in Colombia, including the author of this article emphasizes the speed variable.
