Abstract

The waste and inadequate management of organic waste generates environmental problems in cities; this research proposes the reuse of waste such as pineapple peel to create new eco-friendly materials. In order to determine whether it is feasible or not, it is necessary to perform the physicochemical characterization of the peel, describing in detail the performance of the process, measuring turbidity, color, acidity by titration, boiling point, humidity, total suspended solids, Brix grades, mesh screening, analysis of the degrading fungus from the peel to the weather and PH. The main conclusion is that pineapple peel juice contains favorable properties for making new eco-friendly materials.
