Deconvolución y análisis cinético de la curva termoluminiscente del sistema Borato de Litio (Li2B4O7:Cu)

Los boratos de litio (Li2B4O7:Cu) son matrices altamente promisorias en el campo de las ciencias biomédicas para el desarrollo de dosímetros. En este trabajo se estudia la curva de emisión termoluminiscente (TL) de dosímetros basados en estos sistemas mediante un análisis de deconvolución con funciones logísticas asimétricas (DFLA); para determinar los parámetros cinéticos y explicar el comportamiento TL del material. El análisis con DFLA indicó la presencia de nueve curvas TL individuales como las responsables de la curva TL experimental. De acuerdo a los órdenes cinéticos obtenidos, los procesos de recombinación fueron los fenómenos predominantes durante la emisión TL. El valor FOM (bondad del ajuste) de 2.1% confirma la validez de la DFLA como método de análisis cinético, el cual, es esencial para el modelamiento y simulación de la actividad y sensibilidad TL permitiendo el diseño de dosímetros “hechos a la medida” para aplicaciones específicas.
