Eventos, turismo, gastronomía y moda JA - Revista Intersección VL - 0 IS - 0 SE - Artículos DO - UR - https://revistas.elpoli.edu.co/index.php/int/article/view/226 SP - 24 - 35 AB - <p>En el artículo se presentan los resultados de la sistematización y análisis de las encuestas de satisfacción aplicadas, en el 2010, a pacientes extranjeros atendidos en una clínica de Medellín, con la finalidad de determinar sus países de origen y residencia, las especialidades consultadas, los medios de difusión que permitieron conocer la oferta del servicio, establecer su nivel de satisfacción con el servicio, y evaluar su percepción antes y después de su llegada a la clínica en la que fueron atendidos. En el estudio se encuentra que la Clínica X recibió más turismo de salud en los meses de junio, julio, agosto y diciembre; que el mayor número de pacientes prevenían de Curazao, Estados Unidos y España; y que los servicios más utilizados por este tipo de paciente fue el chequeo ejecutivo, seguido de urgencias y medicina interna. En menor porcentaje se utilizaron los servicios de cirugía estética, general y ginecología. El análisis destaca que la selección de la Clínica X por parte del paciente se debió a la recomendación de un familiar, del médico especialista y de la aseguradora. Señala el estudio que la percepción del paciente de la Clínica X y de Medellín después del servicio médico utilizado es muy positivo; referidos especialmente a la amabilidad de la gente, la limpieza de la ciudad y el tratamiento específico recibido. Información relevante para el diseño y ajuste de estrategias para el turismo de salud y consolidación del Cluster Servicios de Medicina y Odontología de Medellín. </p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>The article presents the results of the systematization and analysis of satisfaction surveys implemented in 2010, foreign patients treated at a clinic in Medellin, in order to determine their country of origin and / or residence, specialties consulted the media allowed to know the offer that service, determine their level of satisfaction with the service, and to evaluate the perception of these before and after their arrival at the clinic and the city. The study finds that X Clinic received more health tourism over the months of June, July, August and December, that the greater number of patients prevented from Curacao, the U.S. and Spain, and that the services most used by this type patient was the executive checkup, followed by emergency and internal medicine. On a smaller percentage used the services of cosmetic surgery, general gynecology. The analysis shows that the selection of the clinic by the patient X was due to the recommendation of a family member, the medical specialist and the insurer. The study notes that the patient’s perception of Clinical X and Medellin after used medical service is very positive, especially referring to the friendliness of the people, the cleanliness of the city and the specific treatment received.
