Remoción fotocatalítica de dqo, dbo5 y cot de efluentes de la industria farmacéutica

Resumen

Se evaluó la efectividad de la fotocatálisis heterogénea usando TiO2 en la remoción de la materia orgánica presente en el efluente de una industria farmacéutica. Los resultados reflejan que las variables investigadas (pH inicial del medio, cantidad de TiO2 y concentración de H2O2), afectan la eficiencia de remoción de la materia orgánica. Los mayores niveles de remoción de DQO (70.4%), DBO5 (96.7%) y COT (81.4%) se obtuvieron con 340 mg/L de TiO2, 10.0 mM de H2O2 y un pH inicial de 7.0, después de 5 horas de irradiación artificial.
